If you're looking for uncompromising reliability, massive capacity, and performance optimized for demanding 24/7 operation, you've come to the right place.
Why WD PURPLE Pro?
The Western Digital PURPLE Pro series is specifically designed to meet the stringent demands of professional surveillance and security systems. Unlike regular drives, PURPLE Pro drives are optimized for continuous operation, handling multiple high-quality video streams (including 4K and above), and built-in AI support for advanced video analytics.
4 Main Reasons to Choose the WD 22TB PURPLE Pro:
- Uncompromising 24/7 Reliability: This drive is built to withstand constant workload, day and night, year after year. With a Workload Rating of up to 550TB per year and an MTBF of 2.5 million hours, you can be confident that your critical security data will be stored safely and always accessible.
- Massive Capacity for the Long Term: With 22TB of storage space, this drive allows you to record many months of high-quality video, even from systems with dozens of cameras. This ensures you won't have to worry about deleting old footage or frequently upgrading your storage.
- Optimized for Advanced AI Systems: The PURPLE Pro series supports NVRs and DVRs with built-in AI capabilities. This means the drive is optimized not only for recording video but also for meeting the processing demands of real-time video analytics, facial recognition, motion detection, and more, without compromising performance.
- Enhanced Performance with 512MB Cache: The large Cache memory enables more efficient handling of multiple video streams simultaneously, improves read and write speeds, and ensures continuous and smooth recording without omissions, even under extreme load conditions.
In Summary
