Extended review

The full write-up on this product

The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 AERO OC is a graphics card with an RTX 5060 chip, 8GB of GDDR7 memory and a PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface. It is an entry point to NVIDIA's RTX 5000 generation, suited to a reasonably priced gaming PC at Full HD resolution.

Who it is for

The card is built for anyone assembling a Full HD gaming PC who wants the features of the new generation, such as DLSS 4 and ray tracing, without paying for a power-hungry card. The relatively low power draw (145W TDP) and a single 8-pin power connector let you use most existing power supplies, although the manufacturer specifies a power supply of at least 450W.

What to know before buying

The card has 8GB of memory on a 128-bit interface. That is enough for most games at Full HD, but in very demanding games or at higher resolutions you may need to lower texture quality. If you plan to use a 1440p or 4K monitor, compare it with a card that has more memory.

There are four display outputs: one HDMI and three DisplayPort. The card comes with a 3-year warranty.
