Frequently asked questions

How do I know if the PSU is powerful enough for my system?

1200W. Suitable for Enthusiast builds — RTX 4090 / 5090 + Threadripper-class CPUs. Rule of thumb: the PSU should be at least 30% above your system's typical draw.

What does "80 PLUS" mean in the specs?

Platinum — ~90-92% efficiency. Less wasted electricity, less heat. Less waste as heat = quieter, lower electricity bills, longer product life.

What does Modular mean for a PSU?

Fully Modular — every cable detaches from the PSU. Lets you connect only the cables you need, cleaner cable management, better airflow.

Does it support RTX 40/50 series cards with the 12VHPWR connector?

ATX 3.1 PSU — supports the 12VHPWR connector (600W) for direct connection to RTX 4070+ / RTX 50-series cards without adapters. Reduces the risk of connector overheating and unlocks the card's full potential.

How many years of warranty?

5 years manufacturer warranty on Corsair RM1200i SHIFT. Claims handled through the official Israeli importer.

What's the official SKU?

SKU: CP-9020267-EU.
