Frequently asked questions

How do I know if the PSU is powerful enough for my system?

1000W. Suitable for high-end gaming — RTX 4080 / 5080, RX 9070 XT + i7 / Ryzen 7 / 9 CPU. Rule of thumb: the PSU should be at least 30% above your system's typical draw.

What does "80 PLUS" mean in the specs?

Gold — ~87-90% efficiency. Best price-to-performance ratio. Less waste as heat = quieter, lower electricity bills, longer product life.

What does Modular mean for a PSU?

Fully Modular — every cable detaches from the PSU. Lets you connect only the cables you need, cleaner cable management, better airflow.

Does it support RTX 40/50 series cards with the 12VHPWR connector?

ATX 3.1 PSU — supports the 12VHPWR connector (600W) for direct connection to RTX 4070+ / RTX 50-series cards without adapters. Reduces the risk of connector overheating and unlocks the card's full potential.

How many years of warranty?

5 years manufacturer warranty on Corsair RM1000x SHIFT. Claims handled through the official Israeli importer.

What's the official SKU?

Why is 1000W 80+ Gold critical?

A 1000W power supply delivers safe and stable power for advanced gaming and overclocking systems. This provides plenty of headroom, especially if you're planning on a GPU like the RTX 4090, which comes with potential power spikes. The 80+ Gold standard ensures up to 90% efficiency at typical loads, meaning less wasted electricity, less heat, and a lower electricity bill.
