PuzzlePC Consultant Review: CORSAIR CX750 Power Supply – Proven Reliability, Suitable Power!
Welcome to the PuzzlePC testing lab! Today, we're diving deep into one of the most popular and reliable power supplies on the market: the CORSAIR CX750. If you're building a new gaming PC, upgrading an existing one, or simply looking for a stable and affordable power supply – you should keep reading.
A Smart Solution for Mid-to-High-End Systems
The CORSAIR CX750 offers 750W of power, a sweet spot that will suffice for most modern gaming systems with a single high-end graphics card, or for high-performance workstations. Its 80 PLUS Bronze rating ensures good efficiency, meaning less energy wasted as heat and more savings on your electricity bill over time. While not the highest efficiency on the market, it offers an excellent balance between performance and cost.
Non-Modular – Simplicity and Reliability
The CX750 is a Non-Modular power supply, meaning its cables are permanently attached. This might imply less flexibility in cable management within the case compared to modular power supplies, but on the other hand, it also means fewer potential points of failure and lower manufacturing costs, which translates to an attractive price for you. CORSAIR is known for its build quality, and even with the CX Non-Modular model, it doesn't compromise on internal components and reliability.
Quiet and Safe
With a quiet and efficient 120mm fan, the CX750 ensures optimal temperatures without disturbing your workspace. Additionally, it is equipped with a range of important protection mechanisms such as Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), Over-Power Protection (OPP), and Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), ensuring all your valuable components remain safe in any situation.
Why choose the CORSAIR CX750?
- Proven CORSAIR reliability: A name that has become synonymous with quality in the industry.
- 750W Power: Sufficient power for most modern systems.
- 80 PLUS Bronze Efficiency: Energy saving and less heat generation.
- Cost-effective solution: Excellent value for money, without compromising on safety.
In summary, the CORSAIR CX750 is an excellent power supply for anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and fairly priced solution. While it is Non-Modular, CORSAIR's build quality and comprehensive protections make it a safe and smart choice for your next system. We at PuzzlePC highly recommend it!
